Waking up to freshly laid eggs in the morning has become the ultimate ‘good life’ dream of many homeowners, and the best bit? Anyone can do it. Once you’ve had chickens you will never go back, as with a little love and attention, chickens make adorable pets. Every pet needs a home, and chickens are no exception. Living outside, they need a home which shelters them from the wind and rain, while giving ventilation in the hot summer months (we do have them occasionally).

Food and Refreshments

Like us, chickens love their food – especially the foods which are not particularly healthy for them. You need a feeder and water container so that your chickens have access to food and refreshments whenever they desire.

Food:

Like cats and dogs, chickens are required to have special food to ensure that they remain healthy. As with your everyday household pets, these fun loving birds also enjoy the odd treat – and here at Cotswold Chickens we can provide you with the ideal chicken feed.
